Role Overview

This is a full-time, fixed-term position as an Academic Program Director for Culture and Education at New York University London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and course development in the areas of Culture and Education with a focus on fostering a positive teaching environment that is innovative and responsive to student needs.
  • Overseeing the development of curriculum and academic support programs alongside teaching courses in related areas.
  • Coordinating the recruitment of new faculty, advising lecturers, and developing co-curricular activities for students in Culture and Education courses.
Qualifications:
  • PhD in an appropriate field or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant teaching experience, particularly teaching American undergraduates.
  • Prior experience mentoring faculty and coordinating administrative projects in a university setting.
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).Benefits:
  • 28 days annual leave pro rata.
  • USS pension scheme.
