Dedicated SEN Support Worker Required

We are seeking a compassionate SEN Support Worker to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust in Brentwood. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with students with diverse learning needs.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time, permanent position within a welcoming and supportive SEN environment.
  • You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
Responsibilities
  • Provide vital support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them engage fully in daily activities and lessons.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to promote the well-being and academic success of students.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters participation and builds confidence among students.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in an SEN or support role is highly desirable, with a preference for candidates who have worked with children with special educational needs.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to learning challenges, with the ability to respond effectively to the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is essential to ensure the safety and security of all students.
Salary and Benefits
  • An estimated salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
