Support Staff for Schools

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a school within the Solihull area of Birmingham.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis, particularly lower level pupils or pupils with special educational needs.
You will collaborate with the class teacher and follow their guidance and leadership to contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities include reporting and escalating concerns promptly and to the designated people, upholding school values, policies, and procedures at all times, and adhering to safeguarding principles.
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of English and Maths GCSEs, prior experience within a school in a similar role or within childcare, knowledge of special educational needs, and a DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
We offer a competitive pay rate of £85-100 (dependent on previous experience) and the opportunity to work with a passionate and experienced team.
