Care and Accommodation Specialist Wanted

Town & Country Housing is recruiting a dedicated Care and Accommodation Specialist to join our team in Maidstone, Kent. As a key member of our housing management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care and accommodation services to our tenants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Activities:
  1. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the quality of our Extra Care Scheme, including void periods, cleaning standards, and tenancy compliance.
  2. Meet regularly with tenants to discuss their concerns, preferences, and needs, ensuring estate management services provide value for money.
  3. Manage the performance of a team of Housing Support Workers, providing guidance and support to deliver high-quality social activities and care services.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • CIH qualification or equivalent experience in housing management.
  • Working knowledge of housing benefit and other welfare benefits.
  • Excellent understanding of the needs of older people living in supported housing environments.
