Job Overview
Pentagon Motor Group is seeking a highly skilled Panel Repair Specialist to join their Bodyshop team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for replacing and repairing panels, straightening and filling, and ensuring vehicles are thoroughly examined and reported on.
Main Responsibilities
- Replacing and repairing of panels; straightening and filling
- Completing body alignment
- Welding and bonding
- Filler work, dent removal and pin pulling
- Ensuring vehicles are thoroughly examined and reporting orally/in writing on general condition of vehicles with emphasis on customer safety and satisfaction.
- Working in a manner consistent with the minimisation of lost, non-revenue and/or diversionary time, recording all such time in an accurate and complete manner.
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy, well organised and safe from hazards to Health and Safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Panel repair/replacement in a Bodyshop setting
- Holding an ATA qualification or NVQ Level 3 equivalent
- Welding experience
- Ability to carry out large repairs
- Demonstrating a positive, right first time attitude
- Showing a great team player mentality
- Working to a very high standard and a high level of accuracy
- Awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace.
