About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and friendly individual to support people affected by dementia in our Think and Share Peer Support Group.

As a Group Support Volunteer, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for our members. You will engage with people affected by dementia, offer refreshments, and assist with setting up and tidying away after the group.

By joining our team, you will help ensure that people affected by dementia have access to the support and information they need, and can enjoy meaningful activities and socialize with others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and encourage people affected by dementia to engage in activities and socialize with others
  • Welcome and talk to people affected by dementia to help them feel comfortable
  • Offer refreshments and assist with setting up and tidying away after the group
