About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Coordinator to join our Systems Development Team. This role will offer variety and a dynamic work environment, with a focus on improving our software systems and processes. You will play a key part in maintaining the efficiency of our support desk and ensuring our systems are robust and user-friendly.

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line user support for our Service Desk.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve software issues; raise and track support tickets with third-party vendors.
  • Document and monitor software problems to ensure full and timely resolution.
  • Adhere to standard procedures for software testing and ensure thorough quality assurance.
  • Support software testing to meet specifications and enhance user experience.
  • Conduct data processing and database administration.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of company databases and applications by following all policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed on software updates, upgrades, and additional services.
  • Contribute to team development and process improvement.

  • Highly organised, methodical, and detail oriented.
  • Great at prioritising and managing multiple tasks.
  • A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • An excellent problem-solver, with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Knowledgeable about data protection and information security principles.
  • Able to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • An independent worker, but also able to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • A customer service champion.
