Job Opportunity About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with physical and learning disabilities to live independently in the community.

You will be responsible for providing first-line support to our Support Workers, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and coaching staff members to deliver high-quality support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Support Workers to ensure high-quality support is delivered
  • Manage rotas and supervise staff to ensure effective use of resources
  • Coach and develop staff members to enhance their skills and competencies
  • Embed quality support for individuals with physical and learning disabilities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in support work or healthcare
  • Ability to drive and access to a vehicle
  • Passion, caring, and enthusiasm for supporting individuals with disabilities
  • Flexibility, patience, and non-judgmental approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to complete physical aspects of the role, including manual handling
