Job Overview

Exemplar Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team as a Unit Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress into management and make a real difference in the lives of adults living with complex needs.

As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursing and care colleagues, driving quality, and maintaining high standards of care on your unit. You will also oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks, act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, and supervise and manage medication ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal.

About the Position

  • Lead a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Health Care Assistants
  • Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks on the unit
  • Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you
  • Supervise and manage medication ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal

Qualifications and Experience

  • First-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN
  • Post-registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications
  • Excellent leadership and management skills

Salary

£36,465 per annum full-time equivalent, based on 25 hours per week
