About the Role
The Business Support Officer Level 1 is a part-time, term-time position that provides administrative support to the Education Welfare Service. As a member of the Business Support Team, you will be responsible for undertaking various administrative duties, working closely with other officers to ensure the timely completion of tasks and meeting statutory deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to requests received in the FPN inbox
- Provide administrative support to the Elective Home Education Service
- Liaise and work closely with Education Welfare Officers
- Update service-specific databases and trackers
- Field relevant telephone calls and messages
- Complete statutory returns
- Support with I.T. setup and creation of resources as required
About You
- A passion for Achieving for Children's vision, mission, and values to support children and young people to live safe, happy, healthy, and successful lives
- Strong organizational abilities, including time management, creative thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking
- Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible in approach
- Proficiency in using technology to perform functions and ensure work is timely and accurate
- Strong administrative skills, such as minute-taking, managing competing priorities, being organized, and working well in a team
