The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory bench-scale metallurgical and process chemistry test work, ensuring safe operation of laboratory equipment, and contributing to sustaining capital and improvement capital requests.", "Key Responsibilities": "

\t* Conduct laboratory bench-scale metallurgical and process chemistry test work

\t* Ensure safe operation of laboratory equipment and contribute to sustaining capital and improvement capital requests

\t* Manage the interpretation of data and technical deliverables of the team

\t* Provide technical expertise in process chemistry, laboratory processes, laboratory safety, and analytical methods

\t* Responsible for chemical hazard mitigation, including the maintenance and updating of COSHH records for laboratory chemicals

\t* Responsible for sample collection, sample preparation, drying, filtration, splitting, crushing, pulverising, pelletising, pXRF testing

\t* Degree level qualification in Chemistry or earth science

\t* Experience of working in a process laboratory environment

\t* Knowledge of Lithium chemistries - desirable

\t* Knowledge of health & safety standards and COSHH regulations

\t* Working knowledge of process design for mineral and chemical processes

\t* Experience of managing and developing others
