About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Scientist to join our team at CK Group. As a key member of our process development team, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory bench-scale metallurgical and process chemistry test work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory bench-scale metallurgical and process chemistry test work
  • Operate laboratory equipment safely and efficiently
  • Contribute to sustaining capital and improvement capital requests
  • Log and record trial and analytical data
  • Provide technical reporting of bench-scale trial outcomes
  • Perform basic maintenance and calibrations of laboratory equipment
  • Manage the interpretation of data and technical deliverables of the team
  • Provide technical expertise in process chemistry, laboratory processes, laboratory safety, and analytical methods
  • Mitigate chemical hazards, including maintenance and updating of COSHH records for laboratory chemicals
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze samples using various techniques
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a degree-level qualification in Chemistry or Earth Science and experience working in a process laboratory environment. Knowledge of Lithium chemistries is desirable, as is working knowledge of process design for mineral and chemical processes. You should also have experience managing and developing others.
