Job Title: Specialist Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly motivated and GPhC accredited Pharmacist to lead our Pharmacy team in prescribing and dispensing prescriptions to hospital patients within the Mental Health Department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To prescribe for patients (children) who have a diagnosis of ADHD, including physical health monitoring, selection, titration, and monitoring of ADHD medications.
  • To initiate patients on ADHD medications and conduct annual reviews for patients under GPs.
  • To complete accurate and timely patient notes on the trust's electronic patient record system.
  • To complete care plans and risk assessments.
  • To run medication education groups for patients and families.
  • To be available to the wider CAMHS team for general medication advice.
  • To work as part of the ADHD multidisciplinary team.
