Electrical Maintenance Specialist

ZD Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's site in Edinburgh. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns, electrical fault finding, and general electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.
- Conduct electrical fault finding and repair to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Perform general electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Work closely with the process engineering and quality engineering teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Support colleagues with project work to ensure successful project delivery.
- A time-served apprenticeship with an electrical bias.
- Experience of electrical maintenance gained in the manufacturing sector.
- Experience of fault finding on PLC systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
The ideal candidate will be flexible to work a 4 on 4 off nightshift/dayshift rota. In return, you will receive a competitive salary, bonus, and additional benefits.
