Senior Mental Health Practitioner - Stockport

Big Life Group is committed to delivering high-quality mental health services. As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a key role in leading a team of mental health professionals in Stockport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Line manage and case manage a team of mental health professionals
  • Manage your own caseload, assessing and supporting adults with common mental health difficulties
  • Work with clients on a one-to-one basis, in groups, and provide support for eTherapy programs

Requirements:

  • Qualified PWP status, having completed an approved IAPT PWP postgraduate certificate
  • Ideal IAPT supervisor qualification, or willingness to complete it
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Enthusiasm, confidence, and ability to work flexibly
  • Ability to apply low-intensity therapeutic interventions
  • Good time management and organisational skills

What We Offer:

  • Permanent, full-time contract for 37.5 hours a week
  • Annual salary of £39,405 (NHS Band 6 + 2 years)
  • 25 days holiday, increasing to 30 after 5 years
