Job Title: Construction Project Manager - Fit-out Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple interior fit-out projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple interior fit-out projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Oversee project teams, subcontractors, and site trades, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration across all levels.
  • Create and manage contract programmes using Microsoft Project.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Source and requisition materials, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Commercial, Health & Safety, CAD, and Purchasing, to ensure the smooth running of projects.
  • Handle multiple live sites concurrently, with projects often running during nights and weekends.
  • Proactively solve design, structural, and site issues, providing solutions to maintain project momentum.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the construction or related industries, with a strong background in retail, leisure, or hospitality fit-outs ranging from £100,000 to £3,000,000.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, particularly in carpentry, joinery, ceilings, partitions, and finishing trades.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage project teams and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel, with a comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and perform well under pressure while managing multiple projects.
