About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Director of Estates to join our team at VIVO Defence Services. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for managing the Reactive and Programmed Property Maintenance for all sites within your area of responsibility.


You will operate as the immediate escalation point for significant operational and delivery issues at site level, ensuring that all sites are maintained to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for managing the service delivery of all Reactive & Programmed maintenance, and Billable Works in accordance with statutory legislation and MoD Mandatory requirements.


As a Director of Estates, you will be responsible for managing the team and Supply Chain performance to ensure that all Reactive and Planned Maintenance key performance indicators are consistently achieved within your area of responsibility. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all documentation relating to Reactive and Planned Maintenance is distributed in a timely manner and recorded against the appropriate assets in the CAFM system.


Your Key Responsibilities



  • Manage the Reactive and Programmed Property Maintenance for all sites within your area of responsibility.
  • Operate as the immediate escalation point for significant operational and delivery issues at site level.
  • Manage the service delivery of all Reactive & Programmed maintenance, and Billable Works in accordance with statutory legislation and MoD Mandatory requirements.
  • Manage the team and Supply Chain performance to ensure that all Reactive and Planned Maintenance key performance indicators are consistently achieved within your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that all documentation relating to Reactive and Planned Maintenance is distributed in a timely manner and recorded against the appropriate assets in the CAFM system.

About You


We are looking for an experienced Director of Estates with a strong background in planned and reactive maintenance. You should hold a HNC, or equivalent level qualification, in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience. You should also have developed IT skills and hold Emergency First Aid, Fire Safety and IOSH qualifications, as well as a full UK driving licence.
