About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Physical Health Nurse to join our team at The Woodmill, a 18-bed rehabilitation service for women with complex emotional and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of the physical health needs of service users
  • Support colleagues and promote good teamwork with the multidisciplinary team
  • Monitor observations and assessments to identify actions that need to be addressed and documented
  • Develop and support physical health interventions using knowledge of current best evidence-based practice
  • Engage actively in practice development, evaluation, and audit activities relevant to physical healthcare
  • Work collaboratively with primary health, developing and maintaining links with GP practices and other physical health departments
  • Monitor and maintain Physical Health Dashboards
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification and registration
  • Phlebotomy skills
  • Strong team-working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
  • Understand the physical health care needs for individuals who are living with enduring mental health difficulties
