About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Surveyor to join our team at Hays Construction and Property. As a key member of our property management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering asset management strategies that drive value and maximize performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior management in developing and implementing asset management strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Plan and deliver asset management activities, including lettings, rent review, and lease renewal, to manage risk and maximize performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, ensuring compliance with regulatory and RICS standards.
  • Deliver annual business plans for individual properties to maximize performance.
  • Manage property compliance data accurately.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external stakeholders, including valuers, agents, and lawyers.
  • Deliver on short-term projects as agreed with your line manager.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field and membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
  • Experience in delivering asset and property management, with a strong understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a performance-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial cashflow, appraisal, and valuation methodologies.
  • Ability to manage outsourced advisors and providers.

  • An excellent basic salary of between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum.
