Account Manager
Our client, a business communications specialist, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team and contribute to the growth of their nationwide customer base. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining a pro-active contact relationship with existing customers to develop further sales opportunities and account development.
The Role
As an Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling regular calls to review customer accounts, advise on new features, provide training, and promote associated products and services
- Post-sales processing, including contract processing and device configuration
- Handling customer service queries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Generating sales opportunities with prospective customers and converting them into appointments
- Self-generating new leads and following up on quotes and sales leads
- Data profiling and updating customer records
- Monitoring and managing the sales pipeline
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience in a B2B outbound sales role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Self-motivation and drive to achieve sales targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A professional telephone manner and ability to conduct webinars
Desirable:
- Account Manager or outbound sales experience in a business-to-business setting
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers
Although product knowledge is desirable, full training will be provided. The ability to absorb information quickly is essential. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary and uncapped commission.
