Automotive Engineering Supervisor

Job Summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Automotive Engineering Supervisor to join their team in Bolton. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of PSV technicians, overseeing MOTs, PMIs, and routine maintenance, managing staff rotas, and working closely with the Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate will have a level 3 automotive qualification and live locally to Bolton. The role involves managing workflow, productivity, and KPIs, as well as liaising with the Stock/Parts Manager. If you have experience as a HGV mechanic, PSV mechanic, Engineering Supervisor, Workshop Supervisor, Technician, Fitter, Engineer, or Workshop Manager, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a team of PSV technicians
* Oversee MOTs, PMIs, and routine maintenance
* Manage staff rotas
* Work closely with the Engineering Manager
* Manage workflow, productivity, and KPIs
* Liaise with the Stock/Parts Manager

Requirements

* Level 3 automotive qualification
* Experience as a HGV mechanic, PSV mechanic, Engineering Supervisor, Workshop Supervisor, Technician, Fitter, Engineer, or Workshop Manager
* Ability to work under own initiative
* Flexibility and self-motivation
