Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Children's Social Care's Identification and Assessment division as a Referral and Assessment Social Worker.

This role is based in one of our two Clusters located in Kingston or Richmond, working directly with children and families through initial referrals, child in need, child protection, and court proceedings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Participate in strategy discussions
  • Lead Initial Child Protection Conferences
  • Develop and implement Child In Need Plans
  • Take court actions as necessary, including Emergency Protective Orders

The successful candidate will work closely with families in crisis, helping to prevent escalation of concerns and provide a positive outcome.

Estimated salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
