**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team at SRM Recruitment Limited. As a Financial Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance team, focusing on cash and banking duties.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Ensure accurate bank reconciliations, including cash postings and investigating any discrepancies.
* Prepare and send weekly till difference reports to branches, following up on any discrepancies.
* Process monthly journal entries for till differences, bank charges, Amex fees, bounced cheques, and sales ledger claims.
* Manage petty cash accounts, creating journals for posting and reconciling.
* Prepare and reconcile monthly data for electricity, gas, vehicle costs, salary, rebates, and Sales/COS, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
* Process payments, uploading and verifying on the system and reviewing batch files for accuracy.
* Provide weekly cashflow forecasts to senior management, ensuring an accurate reflection of company finances.
