**Admin / Accounts Administrator**

**Duties**:

- Develop positive relationships with customers.
- Maintain administrative responsibility for ensuring all daily, weekly, monthly quarterly, biannual and annual reports, checks, logs and risk assessments are conducted and stored and filed correctly and completed on time.
- Create new customer / dog records and maintain and update all existing dog / customer data complying with GDPR regulations. This includes keeping up to date personnel records on file as personnel changes, leavers records and general staff paperwork.
- Undertake all administrative duties as requested by the Day-Care Director and Manager
- Proactively support manager when offering new day-care places and managing changes in booking patterns
- Managing inventory of office and site supplies to ensure smooth office and site operations.
- Support customers with financial queries or concerns, offering solutions where possible.
- Performing data entry roles, including documenting invoicing, billing and updating records. We use QuickBooks as the core accounts package It is important to us that you would have some working knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including reviewing/creating and processing invoices, reconciling statements, and issuing payments. Allocating BACS and Direct Debits to customer accounts.
- Support the Preparation of VAT Returns
- Prepare quarterly reports via Quick Books
- Bookkeeping to trial balance
- Prepare reports for external accountants via Quick Books
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Responsible for the collection of monthly invoice debt
- Assist with HR-related tasks, such as maintaining employee records and processing payroll

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in office administration or a related field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Book-keeping experience and/or accounting qualification. Minimum 2 years' experience of admin, preferably in a Finance Dept, ideally familiar with Quick books / accountancy software

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
