Artemis Recruitment Consultants Ltd is a highly regarded recruitment agency that provides expert services to clients in the East Kent area. We are currently seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our client's team, who operates a portfolio of properties and is looking for additional support due to their expanding business.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000, depending on experience. Our client offers competitive rates of pay and bonuses as part of their remuneration package.
Job Description:
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises. You will also establish rental rates by surveying the local market and calculating overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals. Your duties will include dealing with tenant contracts by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits, working to financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and initiating corrective action. Additionally, you will maintain property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, organizing the completion of repairs, planning renovations, and contracting with landscaping companies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent administrative abilities, strong MS Office skills, negotiation ability, and great communication skills both verbally and written. You should also have professional experience in Property Management or estate agency, although candidates with a strong administration background and excellent communication skills will be considered.
