Job Title: Aerospace Project Engineering Specialist

Estimated Salary: £51,000 per annum

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team. As a highly skilled professional in the aerospace industry, you will play a critical role in delivering engineering solutions and supporting complex projects.

Job Description:
  • Develop innovative engineering solutions and ensure design authority standards are met.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project functional requirements and needs.
  • Contribute to the development of project execution plans, including design, safety cases, and commissioning strategies.
  • Support optioneering processes and develop concept designs.
  • Produce and approve project technical specifications and manage detailed design activities.
  • Liaise with system engineers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in a disciplined engineering role (Mechanical, Electrical, EC&I) in industrial settings.
  • Background in nuclear and/or conventional project engineering.
  • Knowledge of relevant engineering standards (Company and national).
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear, with 18-24 months of UK-based experience.
  • Familiarity with Safety Rules, risk assessment methodologies, and Site Licence/Quality Management System requirements.
  • Understanding of the CDM Designer role and experience in contract management and project delivery.
