Nursery Teacher Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a rich and varied curriculum that meets the individual needs and interests of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver a high-quality education in a safe, fun, and stimulating environment.
- Provide daily care to key children, encouraging them to become independent.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, keeping detailed records and sharing updates with parents and carers.
- Promote children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through structured and unstructured play.
- Maintain a high standard of health and safety, conducting regular risk assessments and ensuring the nursery environment is safe and hygienic.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with supporting staff, other professionals, and parents.
- Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Relevant experience working with children in a childcare setting.
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent early years teaching qualification.
- Enhanced DBS Check.
