Lead Structural Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to lead our team and drive product innovation. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and overseeing product and project designs to ensure technical excellence and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of technicians to ensure technical excellence and effective collaboration.
- Design and analyze products and project installations to ensure they meet all technical and safety standards.
- Provide expert technical advice to internal teams and external customers.
- Develop and implement new products and services to meet customer needs.
- Ensure all products and processes comply with British and International standards.
- Liaise with suppliers, group companies, and external consultants to drive forward product innovation and improvements.
- Represent DESSA LIMITED at conferences, meetings, and site visits.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent status.
- BSc/BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, structural analysis software, and Office 365.
- Practical understanding of construction, scaffolding, temporary works, and related sectors.
- Experience managing and guiding a team, with strong delegation and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with relationship building abilities.
