Role Overview
Salary: £80,000-£110,000 per annum.

MASS Consultants is seeking an experienced Countermeasure Technical Lead to join our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS). As a key member of our team, you will lead the development of countermeasure systems for defence applications and oversee the implementation of these systems.

About the Position
  • Oversee the design, development, and testing of countermeasure systems, ensuring they meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including software developers and engineers, to ensure seamless integration of countermeasure systems.
  • Develop and implement countermeasure strategies to mitigate emerging threats.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers on countermeasure development best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • PhD in Physics or related field, or equivalent experience in countermeasure development.
  • Strong understanding of RF/EOIR countermeasures, radar theory, and modes of operation.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering teams and managing projects from concept to delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
