Digital Countermeasure Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Countermeasure Development Lead to join our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS). This role involves leading the development of our in-house countermeasure simulation software tool, CounterWorX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for modelling physical interactions and phenomena across dynamic simulations, working closely with our software development team and assurance process.

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and leadership skills. You will lead a team of engineers developing models, designing and adding new features into the countermeasure software, solving customer challenges and requirements. A detailed understanding of Physics/Mathematical principles at degree-level is essential, as well as experience with at least one of Electro-Optics (EO), Infra-Red (IR), or Radio Frequency (RF) sensors and systems within a defence setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EW operational doctrine, radar or electro-optics theory, countermeasure techniques, and technical leadership. They will also have experience across the engineering lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Prototyping, Test, Integration, Deployment) and be able to write detailed analysis and reports on countermeasure performance.

We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including 25 days annual leave, buy/sell up to 5 days annual leave, and private medical & dental insurance.
