About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Assessment and Innovation. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of our assessment products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic direction of our assessment development and delivery, ensuring alignment with our organisational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our assessment processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of assessment products, including GCSE and A-level exams.
  • Manage and develop a team of experienced professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in assessment development and delivery, applying this knowledge to inform our strategies and approaches.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading large teams and driving strategic change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of assessment development and delivery, including regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions that align with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of experienced professionals.
