About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Abingdon Community Support Service. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with varying needs, including learning disabilities, mental health, autism, dementia, and other age-related needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include delivering support in all aspects of daily living and personal care, promoting independence, and helping individuals achieve their goals and aspirations. Driving is an essential part of this role, as you will be responsible for collecting individuals, taking them out into the community, and returning them home at the end of the day.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in care and support, as well as driving, is preferable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
