Career Teachers is a leading national education agency specialising in the recruitment of long-term and daily supply teachers and support staff. We are currently seeking an experienced Primary Learning Support Assistant to join our team in a specialist SEND school in Wakefield.

This is a full-time or part-time opportunity, depending on your preference. You will be working with children across the school to cover in a variety of classes on a 1:1 and whole-class basis. Your role will involve supporting the Class Teacher in delivering a range of subjects and learning to support students' progression.

The school caters to primary-aged children with profound physical and medical needs, severe learning difficulties, and ASD. This is a collaborative environment where staff work together to provide great experiences and accessible education for each individual student with care and consideration embedded in everything they do.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional who has a minimum of experience working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision and holds a relevant care qualification or CACHE qualification.

The salary for this position is approximately £85-96 per day. As a Primary Learning Support Assistant, you will be part of a supportive team that works closely with health professionals to deliver physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, occupational/sensory integration therapy, and music therapy.
