Financial Controller - Interim Role

A high-growth financial services business based in the UK is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to provide financial oversight for new acquisitions. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for ensuring effective financial controls are in place and providing financial information to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly reporting for group consolidated reporting.
  • Support the M&A team with financial integration and completion accounts.
  • Collaborate with business unit stakeholders to provide financial information and support long-term and short-term decision-making.
  • Work with the auditors to provide necessary information for group audit.
  • Support the CFO in the annual budgeting round and reforecasting process.
  • Manage business unit cash flow, including cash flow forecasting.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a fast-paced financial services environment, preferably with M&A experience.
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail.
