Financial Controller - Interim

A high-growth financial services business based in the UK is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join their team for a period of 3-6 months. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for providing financial oversight and support to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Controls: Ensure effective financial controls are in place to maintain the integrity of the company's financial systems.
  • Reporting: Prepare monthly reporting for the Head of Finance, including group consolidated reporting.
  • M&A Support: Support the M&A team as required, including M&A Integration and Completion Accounts.
  • Financial Information: Provide financial information to business unit stakeholders to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
  • Audit Support: Work with the auditors to provide necessary information for group audit.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the CFO in the annual budgeting round and ongoing reforecasting process.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage business unit cash flow, including cash flow forecasting.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced role, ideally in the financial services sector.
  • Qualifications: ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
  • M&A Experience: Experience in M&A / Integration.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
