Financial Controller - Interim

A high-growth financial services business based near Portsmouth is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to provide financial oversight for new acquisitions coming into the company portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective financial controls are in place to support the company's growth.
  • Prepare monthly reporting for group consolidated reporting, working closely with the Head of Finance.
  • Support the M&A team with M&A Integration and Completion Accounts, as required.
  • Provide financial information to business unit stakeholders to inform long-term and short-term decision making.
  • Work with the auditors to provide necessary information for group audit.
  • Support the CFO in the annual budgeting round and ongoing reforecasting process.
  • Manage business unit cash flow, including cash flow forecasting.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced role, ideally in the financial services sector.
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
  • M&A / Integration experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
