About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Management Expert to join our Accountable Body and Assurance Team within the Assistant Chief Executive Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of economic programmes that benefit our residents and businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement assurance processes to monitor, measure, evaluate, and continuously improve the delivery of economic programmes.
  • Lead on the production and presentation of reports to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide advice and guidance on programme management and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with staff to create a modern, compassionate, learning, and caring culture within the team.
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of HMT Green Book principles.
  • Experience of managing grant programmes within complex organisations.
  • Strong analytical and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to provide leadership and support to staff.
