About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Peartree House Rehabilitation, a private specialist unit based in Southampton. As a Neuro Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to clients with acquired brain injury and neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical care, including holistic assessment, treatment, review, and management of clients with physical, cognitive, and psychological impairments.
  • Ensure appropriate pathways of care and communication via liaison and referrals to other agencies as required.
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, managing your own caseload and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement rehabilitation programs.
  • Clinically supervise junior Occupational Therapy staff, assistants, and students.
  • Provide specialist advice to other healthcare professionals, carers, and family members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Postgraduate experience working with neurological conditions.
  • Specialist knowledge and skills in neurological rehabilitation.
  • Experience in assessing and treating complex cases.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and provide safe care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A clean driving license is required.
