Quant Capital is seeking a talented junior systems administrator to join their dynamic End User Computing team. This team is responsible for managing all technology used directly by employees, including Windows and Linux desktops, server infrastructure, audio-visual systems, and a range of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to staff in their use of technology.
  • Assist with onboarding new starters, handling role changes, and managing offboarding processes.
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software across the offices.
  • Support audio-visual systems, printing services, and facilities management.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues with users' enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors during the installation of new systems.
  • Participate in a weekend on-call rotation as needed.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated interest and capability in technology, ideally with some programming experience.
  • Proficiency in scripting and coding (experience with PowerShell is a plus).
  • Strong customer support skills, including empathy, effective communication, patience, and active listening.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A productive and hard-working mindset.
  • Academic qualifications at degree level, preferably in a STEM field or computer science.
