Job Title: Systems Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our Digital Defence Services team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating both Microsoft Windows Server and RedHat Linux systems. Your duties will include generating and maintaining support logs, building and maintaining server support and monitoring technologies, and working with other industry partners and technical and non-technical customers.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Operating and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server and RedHat Linux systems
  • Generating and maintaining support logs detailing patching status, 3rd party dependencies, and root-cause-analysis outcomes
  • Building and maintaining server support and monitoring technologies such as Grafana
  • Working with other industry partners and technical and non-technical customers
  • Generating and maintaining detailed documentation and how-to-guides for BAE services
  • Understanding of server-side certificates, Kerberos/Keycloak, MS Active Directory, and such authentication
  • Familiarity with core technologies used on-site, namely ElasticSearch, NiFi, Kibana, MS SQL server

Requirements:
  • Hold an MoD/Partner DV
  • Be a UK National
  • Be able to work on-site in one of the customer's sites (4 days per week, Essential, 5 days per week, Preferred)

About the role:
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our Digital Defence Services team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating both Microsoft Windows Server and RedHat Linux systems. Your duties will include generating and maintaining support logs, building and maintaining server support and monitoring technologies, and working with other industry partners and technical and non-technical customers.
