Our client, a leading Labels manufacturing company based in Cambridge, is seeking a Trainee Flexographic Printer to join their team.
No prior experience in Flexographic Printing is required, but a background in print is essential. The successful candidate will undergo training to become a fully qualified Flexographic Printer within the Labels industry.
The Role:
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures when operating equipment and performing job duties.
- Operate Flexographic Printing equipment according to procedures and job specifications.
- Meet daily productivity targets and schedule.
- Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of equipment used in the process.
- Provide information on job production and settings required for repeat processes.
- Collaborate with Shift Supervisor to improve quality, processes, and production efficiencies.
- Report any tooling issues to the Shift Supervisor for replacement if necessary.
- Optimize job setup for efficient time, minimal ink, and materials.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication and team working skills.
- PC literacy.
- Ability to build effective relationships with work colleagues.
- Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives.
Shifts:
One week rotating shift pattern:
- 6am – 2pm.
- 2pm – 10pm.
- Monday – Friday.
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Flexographic Printer to progress their career in the Labels industry.
