Job Title: Trainee Flexographic Printer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Trainee Flexographic Printer to join our team at Taylor Higson. As a Trainee Flexographic Printer, you will be responsible for operating Flexographic Printing equipment, following safety procedures, and ensuring daily productivity targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Flexographic Printing equipment according to procedures and job specifications
- Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties
- Daily productivity responsibility ensuring that individual schedule and targets set are achieved
- Responsibility for cleanliness and general maintenance of equipment used in the process
- Relaying information through the Specification sheet on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process
- To work with Shift Supervisor to continually improve quality, processes and production efficiencies
- Advising the Shift Supervisor if any tooling is not performing as well as is expected so that, if necessary, replacements can be purchased
- Ensuring job set up in most efficient time using minimal ink and materials
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop team working and problem-solving
- PC literacy
- Ability to build effective relationships with work colleagues
- Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives
Working Hours:
One week rotating shift pattern-
- 6am – 2pm
- 2pm – 10pm
- Mon – Friday
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 doe
