Job Title: Trainee Flexographic Printer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Trainee Flexographic Printer to join our team at Taylor Higson. As a Trainee Flexographic Printer, you will be responsible for operating Flexographic Printing equipment, following safety procedures, and ensuring daily productivity targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Flexographic Printing equipment according to procedures and job specifications
  • Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performance of job duties
  • Daily productivity responsibility ensuring that individual schedule and targets set are achieved
  • Responsibility for cleanliness and general maintenance of equipment used in the process
  • Relaying information through the Specification sheet on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process
  • To work with Shift Supervisor to continually improve quality, processes and production efficiencies
  • Advising the Shift Supervisor if any tooling is not performing as well as is expected so that, if necessary, replacements can be purchased
  • Ensuring job set up in most efficient time using minimal ink and materials

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop team working and problem-solving
  • PC literacy
  • Ability to build effective relationships with work colleagues
  • Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives

Working Hours:

One week rotating shift pattern-

  • 6am – 2pm
  • 2pm – 10pm
  • Mon – Friday

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 doe
