We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teacher to join our team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing specialist tuition to students with complex needs, working closely with County Councils and Schools in the Skegness area.

Job Description

This dynamic role involves delivering high-quality education to students with special educational needs, including those with sensory sensitivities and SEMH requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering individualised education plans to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Collaborating with local authority teams and schools to ensure seamless support for students
  • Teaching Maths and English to students with complex needs, adapting your approach to meet their unique requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in teaching students with SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD needs
  • Availability to work up to 30 hours a week during school hours
  • Strong background in teaching English, Maths, or SEN subjects, or equivalent experience
  • QTS status or two years' experience teaching National Curriculum core subjects
  • Two years' previous experience working in a UK school

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £35,000, based on qualifications and experience.
