About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented IT Systems Infrastructure Engineer to join our Graduate Program at BAE Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the IT systems and infrastructure that support our submarine build and through-life support programs.

As an IT Systems Infrastructure Engineer, you will work closely with our engineers, senior engineers, and principal engineers to deliver IT systems and products that meet the needs of our customers. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in systems engineering, IT systems, and infrastructure, and will be part of a dynamic and inclusive team that values diversity and rewards merit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain IT systems and infrastructure to support submarine build and through-life support programs
  • Work closely with engineers, senior engineers, and principal engineers to deliver IT systems and products
  • Develop skills and expertise in systems engineering, IT systems, and infrastructure
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to LCM deliverables
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will also need to have a minimum of a 2.2 degree in Computing and/or IT, or a closely related subject.
