Job Title: Group Conduct Officer

This is a key role within the Compliance team, reporting to the Group Conduct Officer Manager. The successful candidate will partner with the Schemes & Affinities division, managing the Deputy Conduct Officer and overseeing the management of regulatory issues and breaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and advice on existing and future regulation and PIB's regulatory policies and frameworks.
  • Deliver briefings and training on key regulatory topics and issues.
  • Review compliance and business performance MI to aid challenge.
  • Ensure a regulatory perspective is brought to key business forums, initiatives, and projects.
  • Support business SMFs and Certified individuals as part of SMCR.
  • Manage and coach the Deputy Compliance Officer, including undertaking performance management reviews.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical subject matter expertise, communication, analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience of undertaking a similar compliance business partnering role, ideally in general insurance brokers.
  • Confident, persuasive, and articulate communicator, capable of robust dialogue.
  • Proven track record in working with the business to implement regulatory improvement and change.
  • Strong technical, practical, and working knowledge of FCA GI regulation, including Consumer Duty and Product Governance.
