We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join our busy theatre team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and is looking to take their career to the next level.

About the role:

  • Care for patients undergoing procedures in our state-of-the-art theatres
  • Provide planned care for patients within the perioperative stage, ensuring seamless transitions throughout their journey
  • Assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team
  • Act as either Scrub/Recovery Practitioner across a range of clinical specialties
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Evaluate patient needs, implement and evaluate care plans to ensure optimal results

Requirements:

  • Holds current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • At least 2 years' experience in orthopaedic scrubbing, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to maintain high standards of patient care
  • Flexibility to work on rotation in different specialities, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations
