Apprentice Assistant Cook

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Assistant Cook to join our team at Citywide Services, Salford Council. As an Apprentice Assistant Cook, you will work under the direction of the Cook Supervisor to provide a wide range of duties, including the preparation, simple cooking, and serving of meals, as well as general duties such as cleaning, washing up, and storage.
About Your DevelopmentAs an Apprentice Assistant Cook, you will have the opportunity to complete a Level 2 Production Chef apprenticeship course, hygiene certificate, and a level 2 in maths and English (unless exempt). You will be overseen by an experienced tutor alongside the Cook Supervisor and will attend Salford College for one day each week.
