Apprentice Assistant Cook Position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Assistant Cook. As a key member of our catering service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals to our students.
As an Apprentice Assistant Cook, you will work under the guidance of our experienced Cook Supervisor to prepare, cook, and serve meals. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols, and contributing to the overall success of our catering service.
About Your DevelopmentWe are committed to supporting your growth and development throughout your apprenticeship. You will receive comprehensive training and guidance from our experienced team, including a Level 2 Production Chef apprenticeship course, hygiene certificate, and Level 2 in maths and English (unless exempt). You will also have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced tutors and Cook Supervisor to develop your skills and knowledge.
As part of your apprenticeship, you will attend Salford College for one day per week, where you will receive further training and support. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to progress to a permanent position within our catering service.
