Ship Manager (RoPax) – Permanent – UK – Excellent Package

This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding shipping company. The role is a mix of office based, home working & ship visits.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate all activities connected with maintenance, repairs, dry-docking, conversion or modification of assigned vessels.
  • Plan and coordinate all activities connected to class and flag state survey and certificate requirements and build and maintain effective liaison with relevant authorities.
  • Assist the project team with modifications, upgrades & projects.
  • Monitor vessel performance trends including speed, fuel and lubricating oil consumptions, and implement timely remedial actions where these are outside agreed or expected parameters.
  • Be responsible for Ships Engineering related budgets for assigned vessels.
  • Hold Class 1 Chief Engineer Unlimited license.
  • Shore based experience as Technical Superintendent or fleet/technical manager (Preferred).
  • Experience sailing / managing passenger ships;

Requirements:
