Night Porter

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Night Porter to join our team at Resorts World Birmingham. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with guests, encouraging them to return to our hotel.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate billing and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with all hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle guest comments and complaints, escalating issues to management as necessary.
- Be familiar with and promote hotel facilities and attractions.
- Assist guests with requests, such as information, bookings, and directions.
- Complete tasks efficiently and ensure a thorough handover at the end of each shift.
- Deal with any issues that may arise during the night shift, including guest complaints and security concerns.
- Process refunds and adjustments as required.
- Deliver room service to the required standards.
- Conduct regular security checks and floor walks.
- A friendly and welcoming approach.
- High standards of dress and presentation.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner.
